Mount Cinnamon & The Flamboyant

From the archives: Mount Cinnamon Beach Resort (center: the beach cabana with yellow umbrellas, the manicured savanna, and cluster of white villas with red roofs on the hillside) and former The Flamboyant Hotel (right side: peach buildings with faded red roofs) along the western end of Grand Anse Beach.

The Flamboyant Hotel is no more, demolished in 2017 to make way for a new development called Kawana Bay. The original developers exited following pandemic-era legal disputes, and the project resumed in 2023 with the help of a successful development team that brought SilverSands and SilverSands Beach House to life.
