Northern Grenada
The beaches of Levera (far left) and Bathway (center left) lay 1,500 feet below on Grenada's northern coastline.
The enclosed body of water (center) is a protected wetland - the Levera Mangrove, while the strip of sand dividing the mangrove from the sea is a popular nesting area for the critically endangered Leatherback Turtle.
Captured from the back of a Cessna 172 on January 7, 2012.
